Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) has officially opened its new terminal extension, marking a significant milestone in the £100 million LBA:REGEN project. This expansion introduces a modernised arrivals process, including a new baggage reclaim area and upgraded passport control facilities with advanced security technologies.
The terminal now offers 83% more seating, providing passengers with enhanced comfort and uninterrupted views of the runway. Additionally, two premium lounges have been introduced, including the new Six Eight One Premium Lounge, offering a relaxing space to unwind before departure. Phase two of the project, focusing on refurbishing the existing terminal, is underway and is expected to complete by the end of 2026.
