Smart Vending Provision For Students On The Go!
Bolton College is a further education college with approximately 5000 students and 500 staff. It offers over 800 full and part-time courses across four main centres around Bolton and is the North West’s largest provider of vocational training.
The Objectives
The college had a mixed range of unbranded vending machines and were constantly encountering reliability issues. They undertook a review and then reached out for tenders initially for the vending provision across two campus sites. They required fully managed vending provision and required a strong commercial return.
THE SOLUTION – Refreshment Vending
Livewell Vending were awarded the vending contract, and installed four Hydration Stations, four Snack Stations and two machines for the Coffee Shop’s providing coffee’s teas and hot chocolates. This not only provided the college with a best-in-class managed vending solution but also better commercial return than their previous solutions.
THE OUTCome
The modern colourful branded designs with positive messages of hydration and wellbeing have attracted more usage resulting in higher revenues. This is aided by the cashless interfaces and the broad range of healthier popular snacks and drinks.
